With her bold natured personality and innovative thinking, Michelle Dias has lead successful social media and public relations campaigns for leading global brands. As a communications professional Michelle sharpened her expertise in developing and executing strategic communications campaigns through her consulting roles at Hill Knowlton Strategies Canada and NKPR, in Toronto. She has held marketing and public relations positions at GoodLife Fitness and has worked to support communications during the 2015 Toronto Pan Am / Parapan Am Games.
Michelle currently works as a Brand Public Relations Manager for the InterContinental Hotels Group where she deploys public relations campaigns for brands such as Holiday Inn brand of hotels across Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Since working in the field of public relations, Michelle has worked with numerous consumer lifestyle brands in developing marketing communications programs, clients include Loblaw Companies Ltd. (President's Choice brand, Recipe to Riches TV show), Reckitt Benckiser (Lysol, Clearasil, Air Wick, Finish Quantumatic), and Kiehl's Canada. Michelle's diverse portfolio also consists of work in corporate social responsibility, issues management, and government relations.
Michelle holds an Honours Bachelor of Communications degree from the University of Western Ontario's innovative Faculty of Information and Media Studies. Combined with her degree in Communications, Michelle completed a Professional Writing Certificate and Minor in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario. Looking to specialize in the field of Professional Communications, Michelle completed an Honours Ontario College Graduate Certificate, from Sheridan College in Communications and Public Relations.
